EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Does anyone know what type of sample CDs are used by artists like 
Michael Cretu, Rhys Fulber, or artists writing ambient/new age dub 
style music?  

All the interviews I read talk about how these guys use Logic and how 
they "...love the built in samplers and synths because it was such a 
pain 10 years ago" so I figure they must have purchased some drum CDs 
that we can have access to as well! 

Sometimes their kits sound accoustic, just processed, so that's not 
too hard to get a hold of.  The electronic kits these guys use seem a 
bit softer and aren't the typical Roland TR-808 or TR-909 drum 
machines used for House/Trance music, although I could be wrong, 
maybe just not as compressed?  Even so I doubt they are using legacy 
drum machines and probably using Sample CDs from various libraries.  
I just want to know which ones so I can have a listen too! :)   I 
have a couple drum CDs and the only one that's close is the Wizoo 
Platinum24 Electronic 808/909 CD. 

Remember the early Enigma stuff?  It had that "Soul II Soul" style 
drum sound.  lol.. Really though, I appreciate any feedback ya guys 
have!
