I had posed this in the general emagic group, then discovered this group, which seems more appropriate for my question. Sorry for the duplicate post in both groups. I purchased Big Box, installed Logic Audio, did the 6.3.1 update, and all is fairly well. However, I went to install the Xtreme Analog CD, and it does not include an OS X installer. I follwed the directions to manually install the files, including placing the presets in the exsp24 folder in Logic 6 Series > Plugin Settings. Since I'm trying o the exs24 demo, I also installed a copy of the presets in that plug in folder. The Xtreme Analog Samples data folders are in Users > Shared > EXSP24Samples and, because I'm trying the demo module of the exs24, in Logic 6 Series > EXSamples The Basic Waveforms Sampler instruments are in Logic 6 Series > Sampler Instruments There is an alias, Sampler Instruments, (which I did not create) in Library > Application Support > emagic The crash: In Logic, when I open the exsp24 synth, selecting any of the presets that appear in the triangular pop-down menu causes Logic to crash. The actual voices are accessible from the synth's black pop-up window. In the exs24 synth, selecting a preset does not cause the app to crash, but the synth's information readout says MISSING: Basic Synth, (or whatever voices it can't find). The parameters of the preset load, but it only plays the default voice. Yowza... Help, if anyone can thanks
