I got the same problem. I made a shortcut of my sampler instruments folder and place all exsinstruments in it in subfolders. When I choose a new instrument, the exs seems to scan the hole drive, which is ridiculous, because the samples are placed in the same folder as the exs-file. Second thing is: If there are duplicates on the harddrive, the exs ask everytime, if i want to use the samples of location 1 or 2 or 3 ect.
