Second thing is:
If there are duplicates on the harddrive, the exs ask everytime, if i 
want
to use the samples of location 1 or 2 or 3 ect.

yep, it USUALLY asks me that too, but in the case of the 
corrupted instrument it didnt......btw, it was an instrument from 
the emagic instruments provided with the exs which was 
corrupted
