EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I'm having a hard time making a drum instrument.  I want to have snares and kicks and 
whatever in the same instrument.  However, I have a lot of velocity sensitive samples (like 
8 snares at different volumes and tibres).  I know how to arrange them with the groups i.e. 
snare 1 to a group with a vel. range of 100-127.  But when I get to the hi-hats, I can't 
figure out a way to make them both vel. specific and at the same time but them in a mute 
group.  Does anyone know how to do this???  You can't assign groups to other groups can 
you?
