You can't assign groups to other groups can >you? As Murray already wrote: use the velocity-settings in the zones rather than in the groups. And to actually add someting to Murray's post :), for a mute group: assign a couple of hhat samples to one group and set its polyphony to 1. If only I could remember Sascha Frank's tip on how to get more natural sounding mute-groups (less machinegun-like). Something like: set polyphony to something like 3 or 4, and (?) insert a zone with a silent sample, and then...???
