Here's a repost of my repost of Sascha's tip ;-) __________________________________________ Sascha Franck posted a good workaround for this issue on this list a year or so back. He suggested assigning 3 voices to the hat group and putting 2 dummy zones on the closed hat note so that note on F#1 gives you three voices sounding (two with zero volume) and note on A#1 makes only one zone sound. The effect of this is that up to three open hat voices will accumulate => realistic effect with successive hits -- but as soon as you hit the closed hat all open hat tones are muted.
