EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi all,

I have 39 EXS instances some containing some pretty large instruments 
in a song I'm working on.  I kept getting audio overloads so I froze 
several tracks...   The audio overloads turned into disk i/o overloads. 
  Will Logic become angry with me if I move the location of its freeze 
files?  Logic puts them in the project folder which is on the main hard 
drive on my Laptop.  I'm having numerous disk i/o problems with this 
arrangement.  My external drive is faster so I was hoping I could move 
them and possibly get better performance?

Any other ideas? I've already lowered the big depth from 32 to 24.  
That helped....but I pushed it to the wall again pretty quickly.
