RE: [EXS] drum kit w/ separate outs for individual processing?

2004-07-06 by Paul Stephenson

Ok. I think I see what you are saying, but this still means I have to
assign to outputs and then take a feed off of that to an aux and then
ultimately mix it down to 1&2 say? This means that I will have used the
outputs even though I am not actually outputting any thing from them,
correct?

Sorry , trying to understand logic.

Paul

Hi Paul,

I'm not Sascha, but I'll jump in here anyway..... Yes, you can do this.

The multi out puts you set up in a multi channel EXS instrument need to
be instantiated as inputs in some free / available aux objects. So each
output you assign gets it's own aux object with that specific EXS multi
out assigned as the input.

So, assign the specific samples you want to treat to unique outputs,
and they will then have their own corresponding aux object where you
can treat them uniquely with various plugins.
