Yeah. Close, but no cigar :-( This still creates redundant AI interfaces.
Now that more of us know the cmd-opt-double-click (thanks indeed to Matt
Jones, with an assist by Hans :-)  ), I can easily close the AI window with
a normal command -- IF the AI window is topmost. THEN, one can select
another track and use the cmd-opt-double-click to open the AI's UI.

It's all still kludgy. Not as fluid as how "normal" windows in Logic react.
I still say it's time for real-time linking for AI UIs.
