I'm using an 828 MkII with my Powerbook and it has been flawless.  
Great routing features and it sounds good also.  There are other 
options such as the Mobile I/O which sound better but also cost more.  
I believe that people have reported good things about the RME solution 
as well.  Performance has been great for me thus far and the drivers 
are stable on OSX.
