Hans is certainly giving good advice - and I purchased a PC card
Firewire Interface so I could get more Firewire busses

However I *still* find that I get better performance out of the
Hammerfall Cardbus Interface

Perhaps the Driver for the Hammerfall is more efficient?

I should add that I am really pushing the capabilities of the system
here - running 48+ tracks and more on my laptop as well as a TC
Powercore and loads of internal processing.

I would like to use the Fireface for this work (more i/o and future
orientated) but I did extensive testing at the start of the 2 LP
mixing projects I am doing right now and could not get the same
performance out of the Fireface as out of my old Hammerfall/CardBus

As always others may report a different experience.
