Thanks for the quick response. I actually own a full copy of Translator 
which is why I wondered. I have about 15 Akai CD's worth converting so 
I think the answer is use Translator and then clean up all the 
duplicate samples which both Translator & EXS conversion bring, using 
the Project Manger or really splash out and buy EXS Manger which 
everyone seems to rave about....
