It will slice up a drum or percussion file into beats in a very useable 
way and then export a MIDI file which you can use as a loop. It won't 
identify pitch or individual drums for you, but you would just extract 
or edit bits in the midifile.

I used to use this alot before Apple Loops.

I think there is a free demo available.
