I can confirm your results, it's not the oldest note but I guess there's a preference if a new note needs more voices - it'll only allocate for the present requirement. It's almost "newest note" but not quite. BTW, I tried this with the global voices and the group voices params. So it's a bug in the EXS IF Apple claims oldest note behavior. Otherwise it's part of the feature set. Your workaround would be to merge the samples together and stick with 1-voice normal cutoff behavior. Garth Hjelte Sampler User
