Plus: - The EXS24 filter has a different sound compared to ES1 (and probably ES2). It's an addition to your sound palette - The Xtreme programs are partly made of heavy layered fattened waveforms. When you want to achieve this realtime with virtual analogs it will cost ya *much* more CPU power. Minus: Don't do it to save CPU. Extreme Analog also takes considerable CPU (because the EXS-filters has to do a steady job). Although i'm told that ES2 takes even more, but that's no more than speculation at this moment.
