Is it just me ? But when I convert a Roland patch to the EXS24 format with
and without the deemphasis and even though I see "de-emphasizing sample"
on the progress window, every time both .wav files sound exactly the same.
I don't trust my ears enough, so I used Wavelab to compare the original
sample and the de-emphasized sample and there is not a single bit of
difference between the 2 files. A pure placebo effect !
