Well, there are quite a few options for the Roland Emphasis curves.  I don't
recall what the default settings are but there are a few options.  You can
have the authentic Roland curve, darker, lighter, standard (Translator's original
curve for Roland coversion), special and custom.  It can also be enabled or
disabled as well.  Is it possible that perhaps it is disabled but a message
is displayed where it normally applies the de-emphasis?

I tried it out when I first got Translator and it worked fine for me.  I didn't
compare it to a S-760 (as I don't own one anymore) but there *was* a difference.
 I'll have to remember to try it out again tonight when I have some time.

Interesting that you're trying to make a wave here when you are the developer
for Translator's main competition. I'm sure Garth could be here and other places
trying to point out things that he may have found in your product but I don't
see him doing that.  Hm-m-m-m
