I've got the akai Siedlaczek library- There has been little combining done- I would
expect more for this price.  As an example, clarinet...loud and soft sustained notes
are separate patches, but it's VERY easy to combine these in exs and do velocity
switching, though with only 2 levels, some patches can be pretty noticable when
switching.  Then you have 14 other clarinet patches...staccato, grace notes, runs,
flutter, etc.  You could combine these into an exs patch however you'd like.  With
some sort of switching enhancement, you could do a lot....
