He's right. I tried it, too. There are a bunch of files that end in *.wav.bin. When I try to use these files all I get is a droning, raunchy sound. The samples are straight-up WAV files, just as I downloaded them from SampleNet. I never renamed the files. I suggest you download Stuffit Expander (a drag and drop utility for Windows or Mac) at http://www.stuffit.com.
