That's great. But there are still lots of older sample CDs on the market, (many
from other companies I realize) that don't translate well and still cost full
price. Another example that comes to mind is the Advanced Orhestra series where
the loop points often don't translate properly.

Things truely are getting better. I understand that. I guess it's the "legacy"
CDs that are the problem. I guess the problem will eventually go away by
attrition.

This truely is an innovative new and fresh approach to the whole situation. I
haven't heard the Spectrasonics softsynths first hand yet, but they look great on
paper, and everyone who uses them speaks highly of them.

That's great. And as I said, I guess attrition and time are the only way to deal
with older libraries that aren't being dealt with in the new paradigm of things
(soft samplers, soft synths, etc.)
