Of course, the sensible thing would be to implement Program Change commands, and let the user switch between the patches in a folder that way. I don't suppose many of us have more than 128 EXS patches in one folder. Use bank commands to switch between folders. Allow the "bank" and "patch" lists to appear on the arrange page as they currently do for MIDI instruments and memory-resident soundfonts, the user could then select the patch list parameter and change the value with the +/- keys. Especially useful if you have imported "GM sets" of instruments into EXS, and have lots of very small fast-loading instrument sets, 128 per folder. At the moment, logic's integrated instruments are arguably a bit less integrated in some ways than third-party instruments and external MIDI sources, not implementing program changes is bizarre. Erk
