There should be a MIDI learn function for each and every parameter in
Emagic's synths AND in Logic generally.
All modern softsynths offer such a functionality - only Emagic's softsynth
MIDI implementation is extremely poor to say the least. You can either
forget about it or fool yourself to death with tons of transformers and
cables.

Have a look at RGCaudio's Pentagon and Zeta, or at Kontakt, or at most other
N.I. softsynths. Or look at the Linplug ones, etc pp... -  if there isn't a
clever "learn" function you'll find at least *some* sort of assigning
function.
Emagic's synths and Logic simply offer nothing!

This IMO is ridiculous and I can't remember how often I complained about it.
Maybe Emagic wants to sell Logic Control units - because that's the only way
to control their synths using an external controller without wading through
environment hassles.
