Thoughts from the mind of <HELP@...>, 30-12-2002: >Although I am not fond of PCs, it's not a good idea to characterize PCs by >the behavior of VPC (any version). Yes it is :-)))). >There are many issues that arise due the >the limitations of the emulator that are not indicative of a full-size PC >running Windows. Again, I'm not defending PCs, but I personally am not >impressed by VPC. It's slow and torturous to use. Agreed. I only use it when I have to, for short periods of time and simple apps, if possible. >Best of luck to you. I know this kind of thing is a headache. -Jer Well, Sascha was kind enough to do the conversion for me, so I don't have to bother anymore. BTW, Sascha, if you're reading this: did you try any of the converted organs yourself? Did you notice how many of the looppoints seem to be screwed up? I wonder what causes that -- a bug in the EXS routines? I'm currently working on a quite nice set of 200+ pipe organs (Jeux 1.4 soundfont) that suffers from this same problem. It's a royal pain having to adjust half of the loops in 200+ instruments that can use up to 20 zones per instrument... -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra <h@...> Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com
