I'd say go for creamware!.. I was going for the RME hammerfall initially but discovered that the creamware solution affords same quality in sound PLUS lots of DSP-power.. I have 16 in/out & 15 DSP on my system.. *great* sound-quality imho.. // kim -----Original Message----- From: eatbuick@... Maxtor 40 Gig Firewire HD Logic 4.7 Platinum system. This system will be upgraded to dual G4/Logic 5/6-EXS24, Atmosphere, UAD-1, OSX system, later in the year. I am currently debating the MOTU 828 and the RME Hammerfall . I was wondering if I could please ask for advice pertaining to issues such as latency, quality of sound (DA), reliability, performance (on present G3 and future G4), and anything else any cares to comment on. I cannot seem to get many comments on this subject on the Logic list so am hoping this is the correct place to ask. If appropriate please email me privately.
