I gotta get in on this and say this is a huge issue for me too. If I didn't have a custom made footswitch mouse button these menus would be almost un-useable for me. The mouse is the enemy, as far as I am concerned(years of struggle with tendonitis etc.) On the other hand I think our biggest ally computer wise is the ability to represent data visually, graphically, in ways that minimize the need to get into the left half of the brain so much. With a big sample library, there's a lot of data to absorb, become familiar with, and access, and I agree that it is very important to be able to do this easily. I'm intrigued by the menu navigation system in OS X. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but I think it's a step in the right direction. Maybe there's a model here to be learned from? Drilling down to the appropriate sub-folder has to be one of the biggest drags about computers. blah, blah... Darcy
