Your Sampler Instruments folder only needs the instrument definition files. The
folders full of samples (the vast bulk of that 90 GB)  can be on any drive
attached to your system. They do not need to be in a folder called Sampler
Instruments. the Audio files for the EXS24's default instruments do not go in
that folder either.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
