Thanks Murray. 

By this do you mean that only the .exs files need to be in the 
Sampler Instruments folder and the audio files (aiff, wav, etc) can 
be elsewhere?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
