The Vienna people spent a fortune I'm sure producing this library - and they should just give it to you? It's not elitist - it's business. They have to sell X number of copies at X price to break even. I couldn't buy the whole set yet either, but I don't blame them for it. There are plenty of less expensive orchestral libraries that people have been creating amazing music with for years. It just cracks me up - these people tried (and succeeded)to raise the bar in orchestral sampling - which comes at a price - and you try and knock them down for not sending you a free copy...
