How much the library ? How much each card ? VSL perhaps is not made for actual machines so let's wait. Do you think they have started this library's development (when ?) in front of today's limitations ? Can you imagine a (only) 1000 Euros/Dollars complete library obsolet next year ? Don't you prefer a library you'll keep for years ? We can compare with sound FX library before Direct to Disk. Today, what would you do with FX limited to 1 Mo to fit Floppies limitations ? I think like having a great room for recording musicians but too small to record everybody at the same time. I think like having great microphones but not enough to record everybody at the same time. Actually, I discover the EXS demo's instruments and I think that I can have a better Tuba than before, even If I can't have the whole B&W section. I know it's a butcher, this tuba player, but he's studying :=) You also have the solution of using Virtuoso and a little of VSL like having Vitous and add some "real"... Sorry for my Frenchy english... And really, VSL is not an expensive thing... I can imagine the price if Digidesign had developped it... IMHO
