The only thing that always bothers me is the Plug-In settings folder. I have quite a few settings in them, and am reluctant to replace the new install with my own (old install) folder -- I always scan each folder, 1 by 1, to make sure the new install doesn't contain any new stuff I wouldn't want to miss. Actually, the v6 install contains a lot of new presets for the free built-in instruments (ES M/P/E), so simply overwriting the new folder with the old one probably isn't such a good idea. For the rest: going from 5 to 6 has been absolutely problem free. No crash yet. >My setup is fairly simple....I use the EXS heavily and a couple of >hardware samplers to pick up the overflow... You're gonna love the Channel EQ and the (overflow...) Freeze function -- 2 features that each are worth the price of the upgrade alone. -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra h @ k n o w a r e . n l Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com/
