in your setup you didn't mention if you are on os x or 9.

if on 9. keep in mind that emagic broke a few things with v6. and i would
not recommend moving towards 6 if in the middle of a project.

especially if on a powerbook with limited screen you will find that the
"minimize-window" funkion of os 9 is broken which makes v6 useless, for me
at least.

emagic does not seem fix this as it is a way to push people towards x fast.
