EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi, 

i've just started using the exs24 (coming from an old AKAI s1000) and 
encoutered strange problem. When i open a song containing exs-
instruments, the pitch of the samples has dropped half a note. The 
original audio file is still intact, playing at the right pitch and 
the key note of the sample is still the same. Still i have to move up 
the keyboard to get the right pitch. Reloading the original sample in 
the exs24 doesn't change this. Does anybody know why this happens? 
I'm lost.

This is a known problem with cracked Logic-4.x versions.  Other than 
that I've never heard of it.

and I think this is one heck of a copy protection scheme! Kudos to 
Emagic for this one!

@Mike: just wait until march and then you can own the EXS and Logic 
legally for just $300... it feels good to be a legal user, let me 
tell you. I have been for over ten years now...
