Well, large orchestral libraries want more than one machine. But 
depending on the programs, I load about 25 - 35 EXSfuls of VSL on my 
1.5GB dual gig G4. The good news is that unless you're playing your 
own harp glisses, VSL doesn't take a lot of polyphony, since it's 
recorded with short reverb.

And yes, without disrecommending any other libs, I heartily recommend 
VSL. It's awesome.
