How to apply 2 different filters to 2 different samples in the same EXS 24

How to apply 2 different filters to 2 different samples in the same EXS 24

2006-08-08 by bradleyfishmusic

Hi

We're using Logic/Macbook Pro. We have a loop cut from a tune and the
same loop backwards. We want to apply different filters to each of the
2 loops, using just one instance of the EXS 24.

How do we do that?

Thanks So Much!!!!!

If different filter TYPES, no. Only one Filter per Instrument (that
is, instance).

But you can alter the cutoff and rez (and filter envelope parameters,
on 7.2) on a per Group basis, so if it's just different settings you
want, then yes, it's doable.

That's not possible with the EXS. There's only one multi-mode filter
per EXS instrument. You'll have to either make one EXS instrument per
loop, or use the same EXS instrument on two different tracks, each
track having a different Logic filter effect called up.
