Im trying to load wav (roland phantom x sounds) files into exsp24.
I've read a post that suggests using instrument editer,  however im using
logic express that doesnt seem to have an edit function

any help would be good

That is correct, Express includes the 'player' only version of the  
EXS, hence
the 'P' in EXSP24. So, unfortunately this can only be done with the  
'full' version,
found in Pro.
