i tried your system but it's always the same problem !!!!
(i must say you that i have a friens with the same configuration and he has the same problem)

could you tell me if you are wind controller users ???

for me the latency of AW8 is not the same during recording ans playing !!

No, I've sold them before, when I used to work at a music store, and 
at that time was familiar with the WX7. But I don't play, just 
keys. You may want to do a search at Rocket Network for a player that 
uses Logic.

I sometimes use the Yamaha BC3 breath controller but haven't tried it 
with the EXS24 yet (mainly with my EX5R and JV2080). I'll try it out 
soon and report back.

Try using Mac AV when recording and playback through the AW8. The Mac 
AV latency is very low.

i shall be very interesting about your test with BC3 and EXS24
with expanders there are no problems (i use fs1r jv1080 and vl70m)
