Quicktime Orphans

Quicktime Orphans

2002-04-10 by Ned Bouhalassa

Though I really love the new version of Logic, I
find that there is still a major Quicktime bug
that Emagic hasn't addressed yet: QuickTime
orphans. When I'm working on a sequence with an
imported Quicktime, almost 75% of the time, the
sequence will 'forget' where the video is when I
close the sequence and re-open it later. Even
worse, it can even 'lose' the video if I change
screen sets... is this to be expected from a
professional software aimed at mutlimedia/film/tv
composers?

I know that Charles S. cares about this bug as
well, but does anyone at Emagic?

If you are talking about the offset in Arrange, try offsetting by one
subframe and storing the screenset. It will always go to this value. ie,
Starting at 00.00.00.00 doesn't seem to work, but 00.00.00.01 does!!
