There's also a SoundFont version of that at, I believe, http://208.32.54.121/ which can be imported and converted by the EXS.

I doubt the soundfont has any filter or mod data yet. The only software that can do that is Translator. So if Translator wasn't used, some information may have been lost in the translation to soundfont. Woops... actually, more importantly, when the EXS24 converts a soundfont, the filter/mod data is lost. So I definitely would use the soundfont for the piano. It's ok for most drums, but not for filter/mod-dependent libraries.

In the post you were quoting I made a mistake, spelled the URL for the splendid grand instrument patches wrong, it has to be http://www.saschafranck.de/exs/splendid_grand.zip (I accidentally left out the /exs). Sorry for that. The AKAI FTP link however seems to be the correct one. I reccomend logging in with an FTP client though, just type ftp.akaipro.co.jp into the title bar (in case you try with a browser ftp://akaipro.co.jp might be the better choice). Regards, Sascha
