Yes, I am seeing MIDI notes on the transport. The
reason why I'm stumped is that if I call up any
other .exs program on that channel/audio
instrument, the sampler will play it.

This sort of thing can happen when the files specified in the instrument
definition do not have the same suffix/type or whatever as the actual audio
files sitting on the hard drive. This happens for PC users with some
instruments built by Mac users.

If you can go into the Instrument editor and pick a zone and open the
corresponding audio file in the sample editor and it can be played back
from there then the files are OK.

Othewise it could be some parameter in the instrument definition
(transpose, start point, volume -- any of these can make an instrument
behave unexpectedly -- eg your drumset is octaves up the keyboard from
where you expect it) An unlikely possibility is a corrupt instrument
definition.

Murray

Yeah, got that. We'll, the transport midi info is proof. It is starting to
sound like a problem with that patch.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
