I can't speak about the Dan Dean Brass, but other Giga sample librairies I
have work quite well in EXS. As Igor pointed out recently, you will not be
able to use the Modwheel crossfade programming, as EXS does not allow for
that option yet. However, it does allow you to use the Keyswitch
programming of Giga files, which I find pretty useful. It means you can go
from portamento to staccato to sustain on the fly - very practical. I would
recommend you go for the .gig versions...
