Yes, I have experienced this.

I had two different EXS files called "cymbals", in different places. I had
used the one in "E:\Samples\Ben\cymbals.exs" in the song, and there was a
different one in "E:\Samples\A\cymbals.exs" that had different keys
mappings.

I couldn't figure out why my cymbal sounds kept dissappearing when loading
the song.

Turns out the exs was loading the first cymbals.exs it found, and not the
correct one.

This is reproducible here, and caused a bit of headscratching until I
figured it out. Seems like a bug to me...

Thanks Ben - Well if this is the case, I dread to think how many 
instruments I've loaded on the hard drive called simply "piano" 
or "drums", thinking they were safe within their own folders. Better 
start some serious renaming.

At the very least you'd think there'd be a box coming up like when 
there are duplicate samples found, asking you to choose the right 
one.
