EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Ok, I do realise this might not be the right place to give a review 
of anything that doesn't say Emagic or even EXS24 on the box, 
kvr is a better place for that, but since I personaly burned down 
Stylus right here a couple of weeks back, I'll do it nonetheless, in 
short;

1**I stated Stylus would be a Recycle clone, it is NOT.
It's named groove module and that's what it is. Some might say 
"Hey, duh, why can't I put in my own loops'n'stuff, huuuh...?"
Well, I now clearly see that it's not Spectrasonics' intention to sell  
a clone of Recycle, as said, it's a module, not a sampler. None of 
the synth/drummodules that I own that came in those heavy 
black metal cases and need power and all kindsa cords loads 
samples, so...

2**Get this: besides all the amazing loops you get to use to your 
liking, there's also (and in my opinion lots more fun):
1000 Kicks
1000 Snares
1000 Hihats
1000 cymbals
1000 claps, snaps, fx, percussionthingy's, you name
it! 
All this alone I would have easily paid up for, because:

**Soundquality: O M G   !! truly very very high standard, lots of the 
sounds you get here are in stereo, major fun. Think Emu as to 
bottom end and hi definition.


...Man, I was being pretty ignorant taking the piss outta 
Spectrasonics....All is taken back herewith and to all of you who 
are in any way doing something with drums (....) I HIGHLY 
recommend this fantastic piece!

Good to see that you enjoy Stylus.
To you and any other list members who don't know about it, there's a 
specific list on yahoogroups for all 3 Spectrasonics instruments, and 
the revered Mr Persing is very present and helpful there.
