Error Message: Out Of Program Memory
If you create a lot of user programs, your GSP-2101 will eventually display the "Out of Program Memory" message when you attempt to store a new user program.
The first solution to this problem is to reset some of your user programs back to their factory program equivalents. Do this using the following process:
- Make a list of those user programs in the range 001 through 100 you can live
without
- For each of these user programs, dial up the corresponding factory
program
- For example, dial up factory program 143 for user program 043
- Press the GSP-2101's Store button twice to copy the factory program to the
corresponding user program
The above process releases some program memory. After restoring some user programs to their factory program equivalents, you should be able to continue creating new user programs.
If the above process releases insufficient memory for all the programs you wish to create, then you'll need to follow a more radical process:
- Make a list of those user programs in the range 001 through 100 you can't
live without
- Perform a System Backup
- Use the System Backup file created in step 2 to Create a Set of User Program Files.
- Perform a Factory Reset
- Use the User Programs you created in step 3 to restore the programs you
can't live without using the Program Restore feature
