Yes you can send MIDI cc. It's a little complicated but it can be done. I control a wah in an amp modeler (the POD XT) and it works great with less (if any) lag time than using the GSP's wah!!!!! I can't right now but if you need me to walk you through it I will. I just need to know what CC control number your using to control the channel switching.

Hi. The midiswitcher I'm thinking about is axess-electronics CFX4. It can operate with both cc and programchange. I have set up my Control One so that button 6-10 activates midi cc for turning FX on or off. I'm wondering if I could change channels on the Mesa, just by pressing the cc-toggle button on the footswich? Do the Midi CC signal leave the 2101, or do I need a program change? Phrode

Yes it does. You just have to make sure the CFX4 is set to the same MIDI channel. That's what I am doing with my Pod XT and it works great. I have the rocker pedal set to CC4 which is what controller the Pod XT wah is set to but I don't have it connected to any 2101 parameters. At 03:31 PM 3/5/2003 +0000, you wrote:

Can you control where the wah starts, so if you want to start with the wah at position 60? How do you turn your wah on and off? --- In gsp-2101@yahoogroups.com, Tod Brueske <tbrueske@k...> wrote: > Yes it does. You just have to make sure the CFX4 is set to the same MIDI > channel. I'm not sure what you're asking. You can control where the wah is when you first go to the patch and that depends on how you saved it on the device to be controlled. If you mean you want to control the amount of wah i.e. the beginning and the end of the wah range, you can do that by limiting the range in the 2101 expression pedal. I believe that it is patch specific so the range you set for one patch would be different for the next patch. I don't switch my wah on and off but you just need to find what controller number (CC number) the wah on off switch uses and assign a footswitch to that. --- In gsp-2101@yahoogroups.com, "phrodes" <phrode@n...> wrote: > Can you control where the wah starts, so if you want to start with > the wah at position 60? > How do you turn your wah on and off? > > > --- In gsp-2101@yahoogroups.com, Tod Brueske <tbrueske@k...> wrote: > > Yes it does. Now I've hooked the Digitech midi out to my computer. I still have a question. Is it possible to have the 2101 to send out midi cc when I change preset\program? It transmits midi cc when I toggle the midi cc manually but not when I just change the programs.
