It s the same joystick assembly I used apart from the fact it already has a joystick knob on it. I bought one that just had a shaft and re-used the old knob.

As far as I know it s the same joystick but you will be very hard pushed to find one. They are rare. Also the potentiometers have a bypass built into them.

Yup, turning the knob with no cleaner in it can t do anything but grind the dirt in deeper and possibly damage the pot. Deoxit is definitely the gold standard
