OK, now plug the CN3 back in and then unplug the keyboard connector and tell me if the front panel keys still play notes or if everything works as it should.

Still only the notes above the second from top G# work. It is playing the correct note and the 8th chromatic note below 2 octaves down it. An example is G# 4

Mike, What version of Midi-Ox do you have? In the Configure section of version 7, you can set number of buffers and buffer size, but not delay. -Craig

It is critical to slow down the between buffers delay when using midi-ox. 2 SECONDS is enough. As the owners manual says: Receiving EX-800 or Poly-800 Mk2
