OK, now plug the CN3 back in and then unplug the keyboard connector and tell me if the front panel keys still play notes or if everything works as it should.

Still only the notes above the second from top G# work. It is playing the correct note and the 8th chromatic note below 2 octaves down it. An example is G# 4
