As another poster said : Maxon OD9 rocks hard. very versatile OD pedal. i get everything from hard distortion to transparent lead boosts out of it. also look at the ZVex Super Duper 2-in-1. i have the Super Hard On (the single version of this) which is a great boost pedal, and ive played with this, and its a killer OD pedal and can get loud as hell incidentally, i know its not OD, but if you need crazy Fuzz, get the ZVex Fuzz Factory. its the best Fuzz pedal ever. period. ok, the Big Muff is awesome too, but the Fuzz Factory is just ridiculous.
