John, The first frame seems logical to me. Are you getting the MkII Violins tuned? The second frame is interesting. The MkII Flute and M300B should blend well.

I use the Ernie Ball 25K ohm pedal with the MK-VI output jack. I just tested it with the volume pedal jack. It worked well with a 1/4 TRS plug (stereo)

Just about any expression pedal will work and plugs right into the jack on the lower right front. I use one of those cheapie plastic Moogerfooger jobbies.
