Open the back panel and look at the motor. On the mounting plate there is a bolt you can loosen that will allow you to ease the tension on the belt a bit.

I have a CMC-10 too. It takes about 45 minutes to warm up and get to something resembling a proper speed and it s pretty noisy. I do hope to replace mine down
